This game can be best described as a free version of Half Life’s Counter Strike. When starting the game you connect, login and then connect to a server. There are three types of games. One is just a close combat type, the other two are a battlefield type where you can not only fight on feet but in a jet or even in a tank, And four classes of marines with 4 slots for weapons. This game is no doubt within the top three of my favorite free PC games to play online.

How do I start playing?

Where do I start off, well i hear this question from a lot of starters. When on a server you like, you want to make sure Punk Buster is enabled. You can see if it is enabled by looking at the text box it will be in red. After it is enabled you can press quick join at the top of the screen and join an action packed game server in no time. After in the game server if your not hosting the game press ready at the top left corner, after everyone pressed ready, the host will press start instead of ready and will start the game.

But remember the number one rule is to have fun

  • Cons: long Download/install, and some hackers
